EBRI confirms that about 13,4 million of American residents aged under 65 have already got a self-employed insurance plan, for example 2,6 million received an individual policy, 3,5 million have insured themselves through their own businesses, 3,7 million are protected by their spouse’s insurance or by the other insurance type plan, 0,7 are insured thanks to the group insurance and about 3,5 million workers are still uninsured.

Getting a good self-employed health insurance may sometimes be very challenging, though it is possible.
